Tormek’s tool setter works with their SVD-186 Universal Gouge Jig and their SVS-50 Multi Tool Jig so you can predictably and repeatably resharpen bowl gouges, spindle gouges, oval skews and flat skews.Put the same fingernail grind on your bowl or detail gouge each time you sharpen, no matter the diameter of the stone.

Clear illustrations and built-in stops on the setter make it easy to adjust your tools in the Tormek jigs to your preferred edge shape.It also works on the leather honing wheel.Slide the setter over the tool rest and adjust the bar until both metal discs touch the surface.Quite an ingenious device.Detailed instructions included.
