The Micro Jig MJ Splitters do the work of a mini-riving knife to help prevent kickback on your tablesaw.
A tablesaw without a riving knife is more likely to kick back while ripping. There are many new saws that come with a riving knife, but if you are not ready to buy a new saw, you cannow add the safety of a riving knife to your saw with the Micro Jig MJ Splitter.
These Micro Jig MJ Splitters are designed to mount to your Zero Clearance throat plates and behave like a mini-riving knife when ripping 90 degree cuts. An included template drill guide and bitlet you drill precise holes into your zero clearance throat plate to accept the mountingpins on the splitters. Once installed, the Micro Jig MJ Splitter removes and remounts inseconds. They also act as mini feather boards on the exit side of the saw blade that helpto bear your keeper piece against the fence.
