The workmanship that goes into this fine woodworking workbench is simply outstanding.Joints are as perfect as most of us usually just wish for; solid beech stock is straight, clear and beautifully finished.This largest H&H model comes complete, ready for assembly.(Bolt the stretchers to the legs, then lay on the top – you’re done!)It has a shoulder vise with wooden jaw mounted flush with the left end of the bench, a traditional tail vise with square dog holes in the moving jaw, vise handles, and pair of square-style 9″ steel bench dogs . A full-length tool well with clean-out ramps runs along the rear of the work surface, and there’s a drawer mounted just under the top as well.

The large Hofmann & Hammer woodworking workbench measures 85″ long by 25-1/2″ wide, with the front edge fully 4-1/4″ thick. The work surface is 2-1/4″ thick. It weighs 286 lbs, enough mass to keep it stationary through the most vigorous work.Height is 34-1/2″. The shoulder vise is 19-3/4″ wide, with a maximum opening of 9-1/4″.The powerful tail vise offers 10-1/4″ maximum opening, with 6-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ unobstructed jaw faces.
