CMT Locked Dado Pro – 8 inch

CMT’s Locked Dado Pro is unlike any other dado available. It is the first Dado ever deemed UNI EN847 compliant for use in the European Union. While the Dado is rotating, the assembled elements will never come into contact with each other. The unique blade body design and never before seen special lock spacers, keep the blades and chippers separated and insure that they don’t free-spin when the saw stops.

With 12 scoring teeth on the outer blades, you get clean, tear-out free cuts in solid wood and veneered materials. All the teeth are set at-12° (negative), so it can be used on radial arm saws as well as table saws.

Included are 9 shims, 3 chipper blades and 2 scoring blades that will allow you to groove and dado from 15/64″ to 13/16″ and everything in between. Depending on your saw, the maximum depth of cut is about 2-1/4″. Comes in a plastic case.

Please Note: This dado blade set is suitable for use on SawStop table saws , but will NOT work on the SawStop Compact Table Saw (CTS).

Always use both outside blades. Never use the chippers by themselves, or with only oneoutside blade. Securely fasten CMT Dado on machine using manufacturer’s recommendeddado arbor nut.
