All our Sorby turning tools are made of high speed steel, with brass ferruled and wasp-waisted ash handles with protective brass end caps. This massive scraper will minimize vibration while turning.It can even be used well out over the toolrest. 1-1/2″ wide by 3/8″ thick.Overall length is 21-1/4″.
