Hex Bit Adapter for Yankee-type Spiral Ratchet Screwdrivers – Heavy Duty

These adapters from Robert Schröder of Germany add versatility to your Yankee®-type spiral screwdriver (or to enable you to put one back into service that has no driver bits). The notched shank of the Schroeder adapter fits into your spiral ratcheting screwdriver and allows you to use any 1/4″ hex-shank bit of your choosing.

A knurled threaded ring secures your driver bits into the collet and a magnet in the bottom of the collet magnetizes the driver bit. The heavy duty adapter includes a free-spinning ring to help you support the bit while driving.

Two sizes are available to fit many of the spiral ratcheting screwdriver models sold over the years. Approximately 3-1/4″ overall length. Driver bits are not included.

Please measure an existing round shank bit that fits your tool to make sure you order the correct size.

• 7mm (~9/32″) – Medium – Fits Yankee® type 130 & some others.
