Festool KA 65 Conturo Edge Bander

The Festool Conturo Edge Bander can change the way you do edge banding. If you have a stationary edge banding machine, the Conturo will complement your process by simplifying and speeding up edge banding on curved pieces. If you don’t have an edge banding machine, the Conturo will handle all of your edging jobs while freeing you from tedious and difficult iron or heat gun applications.

The Conturo is easy to use and handles almost any edging job you can imagine. It handles straight and curved edges – even inside curves down to 2″ radius. It applies edging from 23/32″ to 2-9/16″ wide, and can apply edging on beveled surfaces. It offers two application speeds to ensure efficiency and quality.

Glue System

The Conturo uses hot melt glue that’s heated as needed to eliminate potential spillage and waste. The advanced, electronically controlled glue application system dispenses just the right amount of glue for the job. You can adjust the rate of glue application and the temperature of the glue at the display interface. The display will also show you how much more glue you have so you don’t run out in the middle of a piece.

Glue for the Conturo comes in round blocks about the size of a hockey puck. It’s available in two colors: natural and white.
