Festool 5 inch Round Sander Pad

Festool sander pads are made with tough, heat-resistant MPE foam for consistent results and long pad life. They feature Festool’s exclusive StickFix hook-and-loop design so that abrasives stay in place, but are also easy to change. Festool’s pads use JetStream technology to ensure excellent dust removal and pad cooling (over-heating pads have short lives).

Pad Mounts

• FastFix Mount – 5″ (125mm) FastFix mount pads attach to the sander using a large central thread built into the pad. The pad can be changed without tools. FastFix pads fit RO 125 FEQ Rotex Sanders .
• Four Screw Mount – 5″ (125mm) four screw mount pads attach to the sander using four screws. Screw mount pads fit ETS 125 random orbit sanders and some older RO 125 Rotex sanders. Four Screw Mount pads include four new mounting screws.
• One Screw Mount – 5″ (125mm) one screw mount pads attach to the sander using one center screw. One screw mount pads fit ETS EC 125/3 EQ random orbit sanders and ETSC 2 125 random orbit sander. One Screw Mount pads include a new mounting screw.

Pad Types

• SuperSoft – The SuperSoft pad is for finer sanding. The extra softness helps the abrasive “float” for a smoother finish.
• Soft – This is the standard pad that comes on Festool random Orbit and Rotex sanders. It is designed for general purpose sanding. It is resistant to high temperature for long life and has a smooth edge with hooks for quick abrasive changes.
• Hard – The hard pad is used when sanding flat surfaces. It keep surfaces flat and edges crisp. (It won’t round over the edge when the pad hangs over.
• Polishing – The polishing pad is thin and extra hard pad for polishing surfaces with sheepskin, felt or sponge pads. Only available in FastFix mount.
