This vise works smoothly and powerfully. Chrome-plated solid steel guide rods are fitted precisely into the castings, sliding easily with no racking or binding. The vise jaws toe in markedly at the top, guaranteeing positive hold no matter how forcefully the screw is tightened.
Hefty vise jaws have screw holes that make it easy to mount wooden jaw liners up to 3″ wider than the cast iron jaws.An adjustable plastic dog is housed in the outer jaw. A chrome-plated steel drop handle lets you apply all the pressure your work can handle.

Metric measurements are precise manufacturer’s specifications. Inch measurements are approximate.
1 — Underbench Depth is the front-to-back clearance required under the bench for the vise mechanism. (Measured from the front edge of the bench.)
2 — Underbench Width is the left-to-right clearance required under the bench for the vise mechanism.
3 — Underbench Height is the top-to-bottom clearance required under the bench for the vise mechanism. (Measured from the bottom edge of the bench.)
4 — Minimum Bench Thickness is the minimum benchtop thickness required for the top edge of the vise to be even with the work surface of the bench. If your bench is not this thick, you can add material to the bottom of the bench.
