ECE hand planes combine Emmerich’s meticulous quality with the economy of traditional hammer-set irons secured with wooden wedges.Heavy irons are solidly bedded for smooth, clean performance.Bodies are dense European beech and soles are long-wearing hornbeam.As in all Emmerich planes, the workmanship is simply outstanding.

This classic finishing plane is 8-5/8″ long, with a 1-7/8″ iron; it’s ideal for small scale work, and for smoothing any size surface prior to final finishing.
