Detail Sanding Kit – Standard

This awesome little detail sanding kit is the PERFECT solution for sanding into corners,inside dovetail joints and mortises, up to the edge of adjacent surfaces, and just about anywhereelse ordinary sanding tools are too bulky to address.

The kit includes four 6″ x 1/4″ plastic holders plus an assortment of 1/4″-wide circularsandpaper strips that fit tightly around the length of each of the spring-tensionedsanding stick holders. These sandpaper strips look similar to miniature sanding belts,however you only rotate them a short distance manually each time you’re ready to expose afresh bit of sanding surface. Each holder provides a flat face, an angled face, a fairlysharp tip, and a rounded end, making it extremely easy to apply just the right shape ofabrasive where it’s needed.

In addition to the 4 plastic holders, the kit comes with 5 each of 4 different grits ofsandpaper strips (80, 120, 180 and 240). The holders and sanding strips are color-coded tohelp you differentiate the grits. Replacement belts are available in packs of 5.

Also available is a Finishing Detail Sander Kit that comes with 4 holders and a finer range of grits(240, 320, 400 and 600).
