Craftmark Custom Mark Branding Iron

Branding is the most durable and traditional way to identify the work you’re proud of. This branding iron features solid brass head with clear Uppercase letters 3/16″ high – they’ll permanently mark wood or leather goods.

Branding Iron Message

• The 1st custom line has space for up to 20 characters of text – including spaces .
• The 2nd custom line has space for up to 20 characters of text – including spaces .
• You can add a 3rd custom line of up to 20 characters or spaces for an extra charge.

Two-line branding irons are about 1/2″ high by 2-1/2″ – 3″ long.

Heat

The electric heat iron is simple. Plug it in, wait for it to heat up (about 10 minutes) and brand your workpiece.

The flame heat iron is the more economical option. Heat the branding iron with a flame until it’s hot enough to brand your workpiece. Most people use a propane torch, but you could use a gas stove, campfire or barbecue grill – just don’t burn the wooden handle.
