This 4″ plastic coupling has an inside diameter of 3-15/16″. It jam fits over male stubs on woodworking machines and the male stubs on 4″ plastic dust collection fittings. It lets you join the male stubs of 4″ plastic fittings to one another WITHOUT having to use a short section of 4″ hose and two clamps.This fitting does NOT splice together 4″ dust hose.
