Barr tools are made to last through years of the heaviest work, whether you’re a timber framer, log house builder, sculptor, or an exceptionally amped-up woodworker.Blades are at least 5/16″ thick over most of their length.The tightly fitted ash handles are hooped with 1/8″ thick steel ferrules to withstand mallet blows worthy of such massive tools.The flat section of each blade is 7″ long; overall length is 18″.
