Arbortech TURBOPlane Woodcarving Blade

The Arbortech TURBOPlane is a great tool for shaping wood, especially curved projects, like chair seats and dough bowls.It is a great complement to its cousin, the Industrial Woodcarver . While the Industrial Woodcarver cuts wood at all angles, the TURBOPLane only cuts on its face. In fact, you can rub the edge of the blade along a template to guide it through a cut. The TURBOPlane cuts quickly – leaving a smooth finish requiring little sanding.

The TURBOPLane is constructed from sturdy 1/8 in thick steel and features 3 tungsten carbide cutting teeth for long blade life. (The teeth can be re-sharpened with a fine diamond stone.) It is 100mm(~4 inches) in diameter and is designed to fit 4 inch and 4-1/2 inch angle grinders. The arbor hole is 7/8 inch and it includes a step washer for grinders with 5/8 inch arbors.
