Arbortech Ball Gouge

Arbortech’s Ball Gouge gives you the speed of a power tool with the cut of a gouge. The 30mm (1-3/16″) diameter cutter rotates at up to 12000rpm efficiently hollowing or undercutting almost any concave surface. You can hollow bowls, trays, spoons or chair seats. The cutting action leaves a semi-smooth surface reminiscent of one cut with a gouge and mallet. When the cutter eventually dulls, you can rotate it on the shaft to expose a fresh, sharp edge. After using the entire edge, just replace the cutter.

The Ball Gouge shaft is 90mm (1-9/16″) long and mounts to any 4″ or 4-1/2″ angle grinder with a 5/8″ spindle.
